My Story
Hi, I’m Alex Burkett, owner and CEO of Outdoor Alliances. My journey into the outdoor hospitality industry started with a summer job at a local campground, answering the phone and helping the guests. Before that job, I wasn’t really an “outdoor person” and knew very little about the camping lifestyle.
I quickly learned what worked and what our customers were looking for. I have 5+ years of experience working in the industry, including administration, marketing, operations, and guest experience. Then I discovered marketing.
The pandemic sparked a new love for service and trying something for myself in a completely unique way. Seeing a need for a cutting-edge full-service marketing agency in the outdoor hospitality industry, I started Outdoor Alliances, growing it from the ground up. Why? Because I love every freakin’ thing about marketing and this industry!
Every day, my staff and I help campgrounds and RV parks skyrocket their marketing and grow like crazy to support their families and local communities. Period. That’s it.
